Grand Cayman: Seven Mile Beach

It doesn’t matter where you go in life, as long as you go to the beach. After all, the cure for anything is salt water, sweat, tears, or the sea! Traveling will continue to bring new adventures, relaxation, and of course, a new tan.

For years I’ve fought the long battle between ‘beach” or “adventure.” Would I prefer a beach vacation where the only thing on the menu is relaxation? Or would I rather explore new lands in search of something adventurous? To be honest, beach vacations were never my thing. After parading around on some of the world’s most beautiful beaches – White Beach on Boracay Island and one of the many beaches along the Maldives, I’ve become somewhat of an addict.

Seven Mile Beach, located on the western end of Grand Cayman Island, is known as one of the world’s most iconic beaches; for obvious reasons too. Sugary sand, spacious, and calm are just a few elements found within this Caribbean oasis. Finding my spot under a tree, sipping a few cocktails, and listening to the sounds of the ocean are the only requirements to fully enjoy the wonders of Seven Mile Beach. Everything in life should be this easy.
