Reminder: Due to Covid-19, some restaurants have altered their offerings and may be temporarily closed.
Before dining at any restaurant in Dubai, here are some general rules to take note of:
Make a reservation (Duh!) | Gents, no shorts, flip flops, tank tops and the likes (always best to call and confirm before going) | Confirm that the offer/special you are looking to redeem is still available or applicable on your day of preference.
Below are my favorite Thai restaurants in the city (that I’ve personally tried):
THAI KITCHEN ($$) – Dubai Creek (Park Hyatt Dubai Creek)
Vibe: Chic/Smart Casual
Discover a true taste of Thailand with views of the Dubai Creek featuring three live kitchens (wok, grill and noodles). Portions are a bit small for my liking, however, great food nonetheless. Enjoy after dinner drinks next door at Noepe (or before for sunset)
PAI THAI ($$) – Madinat Jumeirah (Al Qasr Hotel)
Vibe: Romantic/Smart Casual
Let’s set the scene – Arrive at the grand Al Qasr Hotel, walk the tree-lined courtyard to your traditional Abra where you will set sail through a dimly lit lagoon before arriving at Pai Thai, where native chefs prepare aromatic traditional Thai dishes.
Special Offers:
- The Rite of Siam Friday Brunch: 395 AED w/ House Beverages | Fridays
THIPTARA ($$$) – Downtown (Palace Downtown Hotel )
Vibe: Romantic/Smart Casual
Situated alongside the shores of Burj Lake, Thiptara’s intimate setting serves traditional royal Thai cuisine powered by the influence of Bangkok-style seafood. The ambiance is quite enchanting!
